5th class recently had a fantastic trip to Cork airport. The boys were invited by Marc Lake who is father of Cody who is in 5th class. The boys were treated to a fantastic tour around the airport and learned a lot about the Cork Airport Police & Fire & Rescue Service. The boys went to look at the watch tower, dressed up as firemen, had a spin in the fire-brigades and were treated to a lovely lunch in the airport restaurant. At the very end Marc took the boys into a plane that was being prepared for a flight and walked through the plane. The boys had a fantastic day and a huge thanks to Marc Lake and all the staff in the airport police & fire department for making the day so enjoyable for the boys.
