Today is the fifth anniversary of our former teacher Eoin Hanevy. Eoin had a keen interest in chess and in his memory we held a Chess For All day in the school hall. The boys from junior infants to sixth class had the opportunity to learn a little more about chess, to play a few games and also watch some of the Chess Club boys play. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the day. Thank you to Mr.Linehan for coordinating a very successful event.
