Thursday 4th November 2021 marked International Day against Violence and Bulllying at School including Cyberbullying.

All classes in Scoil Chros tSeáin participated in a variety of lessons and activities covering antibullying messages and promoting kindness. The theme we chose for the day was ‘One Kind Word’. Kindness is more important today than it ever has been. The isolation for many caused by the Covid pandemic in the last year has underlined how little acts of kindness can break down barriers and brighten up the lives of those around us.

In a world that can sometimes feel like it’s filled with negativity, “One Kind Word” can provide a moment of hope. It can change someone’s day. Best of all one kind word leads to another. Kindness fuels kindness.

Here are some photos of the boys enjoying some of the things they did. They were busy making friendship flowers,  making friendship circles and sprinkling kindness!
