On Tuesday, March 15th, we celebrated Proclamation Day. The event kicked off with a parade as the boys from Junior Infants to Second Class marched to the front yard. They waved Irish flags and Erica from Carrigaline Pipe Band played the bagpipes. Boys from Sixth Class read from the Proclamation and boys from First Class to Sixth Class read extracts of their individual class proclamations. Our school proclamation was read out too. We sang songs and played a variety of musical instruments. Miceal Murphy, the chairperson of our Board of Management, raised the flag and the boys sang Amhrán na bhFiann.
Thanks to Ted Murphy for the photographs.
