The boys in Senior Infants, 1st & 2nd classes have been very busy in our greenhouse and new gardening area. They have been planting a wide variety of herbs, fruits and vegetables and are doing a great job at watering them and looking after them each day.
1st & 2nd classes have been working on the Incredible Edibles grow pack. They are growing turnip, carrot, spinach, potatoes, strawberry plants, chives and lettuce. They also grew some peas, cress and parsley seeds. They will be hoping to harvest their herbs, fruits and vegetables in the coming weeks before the Summer holidays.
The boys in Senior Infants planted the seeds from the Innocent grow your own pack. They have been carefully minding their salad leaves, spinach, beetroot and peas. A huge congratulations to the Senior Infant boys, Mrs.Murphy and Mrs.Keohane on the amazing bug hotel they built. I’m sure it will have lots of visitors checking in over the coming weeks and months!
